Prize Terms and Conditions

Promoter

The promoter of this prize draw (Wander Beyond Pty Ltd, trading as Helloworld Travel Mackay) is the entity running the promotion, as specified in the promotional materials. ("Promoter")

 

Conditions of Entry

2. Eligibility criteria and prize details form part of these Conditions of Entry. An individual who meets the eligibility criteria is deemed to have accepted these Conditions of Entry.

3. Entry is open to Queensland residents of the applicable jurisdiction aged 18 years or older, who comply with the requirements set out in the "Eligibility for Promotion" terms stated in these Conditions of Entry ("Eligible Entrants").

4. Employees of the Promoter, its related entities, and their immediate families are not permitted to enter.

 

Duration of Promotional Period

5. The promotion commences and ends as specified in the promotional materials ("Promotion Period"). A Prize Winner will be drawn from the pool of Eligible Entrants.

 

Eligibility for Promotion

6. Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period:
a. Subscribe to receive direct marketing material from the Promoter OR sign up to receive direct marketing material from the Promoter either in person, online, or via other specified means. Entrants can unsubscribe at anytime.
7. Any costs associated with entering the promotion remain the responsibility of each entrant.

8. When subscribing, entrants agree to the Promoter's privacy policy as specified on the Promoter's website.

9. Eligible Entrants will receive one (1) entry into the Promotion.

 

Selection of Prize Winner

10. There will be one (1) Prize Winner per prize draw selected from the Eligible Entrants during the Promotion Period.

11. The Prize Winner must provide valid identification to claim the prize.

12. The Prize Winner will be determined by a random [computer-generated] draw at the Promoter's designated location. The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries in case an ineligible entrant is drawn. The Prize Winner need not be present at the draw.

13. The Prize Winner will be contacted via email or telephone as soon as possible after the draw.

14. The Prize Winner will be announced on the Promoter's website and/or social media pages.

15. The Prize Winner has 21 days to claim the prize. If unclaimed, a secondary draw will be conducted to select a new winner, who will be notified accordingly. Any redraw will be conducted at the same location and by the same method as the original draw.

16. By participating, entrants consent to their name being announced if they are selected as the Prize Winner.

17. The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.

 

Prize Details

18. The prizes consists of a travel gift card or equivalent travel services as specified in the promotional materials. There are multiple prize draws in relation to the Helloworld Travel Expo. Prize values vary with the maximum prize value being $14,000.

19. Eligible Entrants may receive only one (1) prize across the Promotion Period.

20. The Prize Winner is responsible for any applicable tax liability.

21. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be used with other offers unless stated otherwise.

22. The prize is subject to any additional terms and conditions as set by the Promoter and/or prize issuer.

23. The prize is valid for use for the period specified in the promotional materials.

24. By accepting the prize, the Prize Winner consents to the use of their first name, initial of surname, and general location for promotional purposes.

 

Liability and Disclaimers

25. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
a. Incorrect transcription of entry information;
b. Lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries;
c. Technical malfunctions or failures;
d. Unauthorised intervention in the promotion;
e. Errors in the administration of the promotion;
f. Any loss or damage arising from the use of the prize.
26. The Promoter is not liable for any personal injury incurred in connection with the promotion or use of the prize, except as required by law.

27. These terms do not affect any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

 

Privacy

28. Entrants' personal information will be collected to administer and promote this promotion. It will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy.

29. Personal information may be shared with entities assisting with the promotion, including prize suppliers and regulatory authorities, as required.

30. Failure to provide the required personal information will result in disqualification from the promotion.

 

General

31. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Conditions of Entry or cancel the promotion if necessary.

32. These Conditions of Entry are governed by the laws of the relevant jurisdiction.

33. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform. By entering, participants release such platforms from any liability.

34. These Conditions of Entry supersede all prior agreements and understandings related to the promotion. This is a game of chance, and skill plays no part in determining the winner.
