Bowen is one of the many charming towns on the Whitsunday Coast, with award winning palm fringed beaches, beautiful bays and a warm tropical climate, let's discover it together on this hosted short stay.

We will be welcomed with a scrumptious lunch by Meraki Whitsunday’s which overlooks the beautiful Horseshoe Bay. Our afternoon will be filled with Bowen's history, visiting Flag Staff Hill, Catalina Memorial and the area where the film ‘Australia’ was set. We will then check in to Port Denison Motor Inn, have a rest or wander the esplanade of Bowen before making our way to dinner at Grand View Hotel Bowen. Situated on the main street of Bowen, it has recently had renovations giving the old-Queenslander style building a modern and chic feel while still allowing its historic charm to shine through.

The next day we’ll start the day at Le Sorelle Coffee House and Florist where we will be treated to a hearty breakfast and chance to check out their florist and gift shop. Our next stop will be at the Bowen Sunday Markets which is set at Queens Bay. Local arts, crafts, clothing and fresh produce will be on offer. Our final stop will be at the ’Big Mango’ where we’ll be served some sandwiches and to finish off we will be served the famous mango sorbet & ice cream.
